Achievement System Refinements
Due to recent story and map updates, the conditions to complete certain achievements are no longer valid. We have updated these achievements accordingly. Your previous progress will automatically carry over, and previously completed achievements will not be affected; you do not need to reunlock them.
Affected Achievements:
- Completion conditions for the achievement "What a Team-Up!" have been updated.
- Completion conditions for the achievement "Cute, Smart, Clever" have been updated.
- "Echoes of the Abyss" has been changed to "Missing Sword Notice".

Twitch Drops
As Season 10 kicks off, get ready for a new round of Twitch Drops.
This round's drops include the Squirrel Girl - Will of Galacta costume along with related bundle content.

Starting September 17, we will gradually roll out drops for the Marvel Rivals IGNITE Series Stage 2 Regular Season and Playoffs.
The Watcher isn't the only one keeping an eye on the action; Galacta herself is distributing cosmic bounties! Rack up enough watch time to appease our favorite cosmic entity and claim the Cyclops - Will of Galacta costume along with related bundle content, alongside a series of esports-themed drops.
Drops Period: Released in batches starting from the Group Stage at 09:00:00, September 17th (UTC). The final batch goes live for the Playoffs on October 15th at 11:00 (UTC). Please note that some drops can only be earned by watching matches during their specific week.

Marvel Rivals IGNITE Stage 2
Stage 2 of the Marvel Rivals IGNITE Series is about to fully launch!
Regular Season: Kicks off on September 17th with the Oceania Series and China Series. On September 18th, the Americas and EMEA Series begin simultaneously. The Asia Series will join the regular season schedule on September 25th.
Playoffs: On October 8th, the Pacific Series (the merged Asia and Oceania Series) will open the playoffs, fighting for 2 seats at the 2026 IGNITE Grand Finals. On October 15th, the Americas and EMEA Series will begin their respective playoffs, each battling for 4 Grand Final seats. The China Series will take the spotlight on October 16th, concluding the playoffs and deciding the final 2 seats for the Grand Finals.
Ultimately, 12 teams will assemble on the Grand Finals stage for the ultimate showdown.
Marvel Rivals Championship
Marvel Rivals Championship Season 10 is charging into action! Whether you're a team of seasoned Avengers or rising street-level defenders, simply participate in the Open Qualifiers and complete at least 6 matches to secure your roster a hefty sum of Units and a vault full of exclusive loot (check the in-game MRC rewards preview for the full details).
If your Faction has what it takes at the top level, pay close attention: Season 10 MRC will continue to accumulate Champion Points for your Faction toward the 2026 Season. Following this season, only Season 11 remains as the final stop for 2026 Championship Points. After the 2026 competitive year, the top-performing Factions from the Season 11 MRC and those ranking high on the 2026 Champion Points leaderboard will be invited to compete in the Ignite Series 2026 Annual Qualifier, where they'll battle alongside select pro-circuit teams for a starting spot in the 2027 Pro Circuit! For the exact rules of engagement, consult the in-game MRC page or our official social channels.
Esports System
Following this maintenance, all details regarding the Marvel Rivals IGNITE Series Stage 2, including format, match schedules, participating teams, and player info, will be updated in the in-game Esports system. Players can also subscribe to specific tournament phases within the system. Once subscribed, you will receive in-game notifications before those matches begin (subscriptions can be canceled at any time).
Group Stage Predictions for Phase 2 are officially open! Participate in group stage predictions before September 17th, subscribe to schedules/teams/players, and watch matches through the in-game Livestreams tab to complete event missions and earn rewards like Sprays, Titles, Units, and more.
Intel® XeSS 3 Frame Generation
We have added support for Intel® XeSS 3 Frame Generation. When enabled on compatible Intel graphics cards, it can insert up to three AI-generated frames between two rendered frames to boost visual smoothness. Combined with Intel® Xe Low Latency (XeLL) technology to reduce input lag, this provides players with a much smoother and more responsive gaming experience.
Fixes and Optimizations
Heroes
- Cloak & Dagger's Laggy Veil: Fixed an issue where casting abilities might suffer a delayed response after switching forms while using the Oblivion Shroud Team-Up. The duo of light and dark is back in perfect sync, no more hesitation when stepping out of the shadows!
- Devil Dinosaur's Accidental Escort: Addressed a quirky bug where Devil Dinosaur using Savage Predation to bite an enemy had a chance to glitch the poor opponent into the allied spawn room. Moon Girl gave him a stern talking-to; enemies are officially off the VIP guest list!
- Rocket's Krakoan Misstep: Fixed an issue where Rocket Raccoon could experience abnormal positioning errors after passing through Krakoan gates while using the Planet X Pals Team-Up. Even a genius trash panda needs his portals calibrated properly. Safe travels, Rocket!
- Winter Soldier's Wasted Wipeout: Resolved a bug where Winter Soldier's Ultimate ability would unexpectedly reset when hitting a feigning-death Thor (during the Ragnarok Rebirth Team-Up). Bucky's bionic arm is back to respecting the God of Thunder's theatrical naps.
- Black Cat's Phantom Footsteps: Optimized Black Cat's footstep audio so her approach can be perceived normally. She's still a master thief, but now you might actually hear the purr-fect heist coming!
- Emma Frost's Phantom Soundscape: Fixed an issue where the sound effect for the Spirit Breaker Team-Up could trigger even when the Enhanced Effect was inactive. The White Queen's telepathy was manifesting a bit too loudly.
- Devil Dinosaur's Visual Clutter: Optimized several ability visual effects for Devil Dino (Impact Beam, Buddy Barrier, and the Surf & Turf Team-Up), reducing screen clutter. We cleared the air so you can actually see the giant red Rex stomping toward you!
- Speedy Emote Exploit: Fixed an issue where traversal Emotes for Ultron, Jeff the Land Shark, and Devil Dinosaur could cause their in-game movement speed to glitch during combat. Showing off your moves should be fun, not a tactical speed hack!
- Peni Parker's Speedy Snares: Fixed an issue where Peni's Cyber-Web Snare would unexpectedly enter cooldown immediately upon casting, resulting in a shorter actual cooldown than intended. SP//dr's internal clock has been recalibrated; even a genius pilot can't hack her way out of a proper cooldown!

- Optimized certain collisions on the K'un-Lun: Heart of Heaven map to better match the actual models.
